Article Title
Clear Aligner Treatment in an Adolescent Female with Hyperdivergent Growth Pattern of the Mandible
Abstract
This study investigated the application of a clear aligner system in treatment of an adolescent Taiwanese female exhibiting a high mandibular plane angle, with a particular emphasis on the alignment of crowded upper anterior teeth. The treatment plan excluded tooth extraction and applied sequential distalization and transverse expansion across both dental arches instead. The alleviation of crowding and increased arch width was accomplished, while maintaining optimal vertical dimension control. The treatment yielded observable improvements in both oral function and aesthetic appearance
