Abstract
Long treatment time and discomfort in the orthodontic treatment are the most common factors that p’t decides not to accept treatment. Recently, there are many ways to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement and relieve pain during the treatment progress. “Low level laser therapy” which is proven by many clinical studies is a non-invasive way to achieve these goals. This article reviews cellular, animal, and clinical studies about low level laser therapy used in orthodontics.
