Non-Extraction Orthodontic Treatment of Bilateral Maxillary Canine Impaction – A Case Report
Abstract
The ectopic eruption and impaction of maxillary permanent canines is a frequently encountered clinical problem.The diagnosis and treatment of this problem usually requires the expertise of orthodontist.In this case report,we present the treatment of a 14-year-old male patient with delaying eruption of bilateral upper permanent canine.The patient received full mouth non-extraction orthodontic treatment with surgical exposure of upper permanent canine.The patient was satisfied with the treatment outcome.
